International Committee on Enterprise Architecture Standards

The Association of Enterprise Architects has an International Committee on Enterprise Architecture Standards. The a|EA Standards Committee serves two directly related purposes:

1. Develop and promote international standards on enterprise architecture; and
2. Build, manage and expand an EA knowledgebase.

The Standards Committee currently has four members:

Haiping Luo – Senior Architect at US Government Printing Office
Klaus D. Niemann – CEO of act! consulting GmbH, Germany
Hong Sik Kim – a|EA Korea Chapter Vice President, Seoul, South Korea
Ben Bovée – EA Consultant

The a|EA Standards Committee promotes the principle of openness and participation. We invite all EA professionals to participate in our effort to advance EA Body of Knowledge.

The a|EA Standards Committee has just started two projects:

AEA-A-2005-1: Building an EA Knowledge Digest
AEA-A-2005-2: Developing an Enterprise Architecture Management Guide

We are looking for participation from the EA community to bring expertise and wisdom to these projects.
